Flanders Youth Center
The Southampton Youth Bureau's F.A.S.T. program is an opportunity for young children in grades K - 4 to participate in Fun Activities with Snacks and Time to do homework! Students will have the opportunity to make new friends, learn social skills, and participate in social-emotional growth activities. Program meets every Monday at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Southampton Town Justice Court
Youth Court is a great way to earn community service credits and build your college resume! High school students from local schools work together to hold real trials for juvenile offenders, where all the facts of the case are heard and the jury decides on a disposition, or “sentence”, for the offender to repair the harm that they have caused to the victims. Students in grades 9 - 12 living or attending school in the Town of Southampton can participate. Those who are interested in becoming an attorney, improving public speaking skills, learning about the justice system, building their college/job resume or just enjoy community service are invited to join. General youth court meetings are held from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at the Southampton Town Justice Court, 32 Jackson Ave – Transportation may be available upon request. The Southampton Youth Bureau's Chess Club is held on Tuesdays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd. Students are taught to challenge themselves, build self-confidence, meet new friends, reduce stress, and learn strategy & discipline through the game of Chess. Join the Southampton Youth Bureau's Discovery Club for a STEAM session of Superhero Science! Can People Fly? Is it possible to have super human strength? Can spiderwebs support the weight of a person? Join us as we learn through experiments and projects! Discovery Club is held on Wednesdays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm (February 8th – April 26th) at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Program is open to grades K - 4 and the cost to attend is $25/10 sessions (No class on Feb. 22nd & April 12th). Space is limited and pre-registration is required! Hampton Bays Community Center
The Southampton Youth Bureau is currently accepting new member registrations for their "Teen Views" program. Participants will learn how to interview, create creditable stories, film & edit video, and produce content for TV. Program resumes February 1st and is held on Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Teen Views is open to grades 7 - 12 and community service credits are available! Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 20th Anniversary Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 9th (Rain Date: Friday, June 16th) from 8:00pm – 11:00pm at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 12th 2023 and can be sent or dropped off to:

The Southampton Youth Bureau will be sponsoring two sessions of their Basketball Clinic at Southampton Youth Services (SYS), 1370a Majors Path every Friday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm (January 27th – March 24th & April 21st – June 2nd). Program will not be held on February 24th. Clinic is open to grades 7 - 12 and cost is $25/session for residents and $35/session for non-residents. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Hampton Coffee Company
The Southampton Youth Bureau will be hosting their next Open Mic Night on Friday, February 10th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Hampton Coffee Company, 749 County Road 39a in Southampton. If you’re in grades 5 – 12, come on out to share your talent! Acoustic performers, karaoke, spoken word, poetry and comedic acts are all welcome to participate. The Southampton Youth Bureau is recruiting new members to join their Youth Advisory Committee for the 2022 - 2023 school year! If you are in 7th - 12th grade and interested in planning trips and events, doing community service projects, and making friends with students from other schools, then sign up for YAC! As a YAC member, you can make a difference in your community. Community service projects may include leaf raking for senior citizens, hosting a clothing or toy drive, participating in fundraisers for other youth organizations, meeting with elected officials for youth causes, or other activities that can make a difference in our community. Youth Advisory Committee is a great way to get involved and to earn community service credit hours during the school year. Meetings will be held every other Tuesday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Fri, Feb. 24th from 4:30pm – 7:30pm: Chocolate Making Class with Chef Steve Amaral from North Fork Chocolate Company – Dinner & a Movie to follow. Admission is $10. Program is open to grades 5 – 8.
