Facilities

This facility includes a heated building equipped with restrooms, a kitchen featuring a refrigerator and microwave (no stove), and 2,000 square feet of activity space. Residents of the town can reserve the building for a fee, which includes access to tables and chairs. For further information, please refer to Red Creek Park. To reserve the facility, residents must complete a Facility Use Application, and applicable fees will be charged.

The establishment of this facility commenced in 1980. Conveniently situated in the Town of Southampton, this regional park is easily reachable from various areas within the town. Spanning 45 acres, the park is dedicated to active recreation and includes several features: five ball fields, three lighted championship softball fields, three turf fields (the latest of which was installed in 2024), a newly resurfaced hockey tile rink, eight new pickleball courts, three new tennis courts, two renovated basketball courts, two playgrounds (one designed for children aged five and under and another suitable for all ages), a soccer/football field, walking and cross-country trails that connect to The Paumanok Trail, restrooms, an indoor activity center, an outdoor picnic pavilion, and the Southampton Animal Shelter/Adoption Center.

Additional features include three marked trails that wind through upland areas of pitch pine and mixed hardwoods, a fitness trail, and an exercise station. Trail maps can be obtained at the Red Creek Park Office or the Parks and Recreation Department.
