Southampton, April 2, 2025 – The Town of Southampton is pleased to announce that the waste oil tank at the Westhampton Transfer Station has been successfully replaced and is now available for use by residents.
The newly installed tank ensures the continued safe and environmentally responsible disposal of used motor oil. Residents are encouraged to bring their waste oil to the transfer station during normal operating hours, which are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday through Tuesday. The facility is closed on Wednesdays. Proper disposal of waste oil helps protect local water sources and supports the town’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Residents are permitted to dispose of a maximum of five gallons of used motor oil per day.
