Suffolk County DPW to Host Public Information Meeting, Presenting Preliminary Findings of County Road 39 Traffic Study
WHAT: Public Information Meeting hosted by Suffolk County Department of Public Works introducing early findings of the County Road 39 Corridor Study. Public comments will be received during the meeting after the presentation.

WHY: To receive community input as a preliminary stage of the corridor study process. The Suffolk County Department of Transportation has undertaken a comprehensive transportation planning study of Suffolk County Road 39. The Corridor Study of CR 39 will develop, evaluate, and identify long-term roadway and transportation system improvements to reduce traffic congestion, minimize local detours, and improve safety along County Road 39 and its surrounding corridors. As Suffolk County DPW reviews data from the corridor study, public comment is a critical first step. The Department will host a Public Information Meeting to:
