From Tuesday, January 28th to Friday, January 31st, we will be conducting important Sperry Rail Testing on the Montauk Branch from 9PM to 4AM each night. During this time, train service between Babylon and Montauk will be suspended in both directions. While this necessary work helps maintain the safety and reliability of our tracks, we understand that it may cause inconvenience to some of our customers.
Buses will be available to transport commuters between Babylon and Montauk. The shuttle buses will operate in three main zones:
- Bay Shore through Patchogue
- Bellport through Southampton
- Bridgehampton through Montauk
Local travel between stops in different zones will not be available. Please check departure times on the TrainTime app or at mta.info/schedules, as buses will leave earlier than normal train schedules.
The last trains will be the 8:36PM from Babylon and the 9:07PM from Speonk. Train service will resume with the 4:10AM from Speonk.
